Darla - I'm so glad I found your blog. Well, you sent me the UTube link, but I didn't dare click on it because I didn't know who 'motherofthepack' was. So I did a search on that and much to my surprise and utter joy found you! I think you sent me something a month or so ago, but I didn't know who it was. Did you send me something on Asian girls?

Now I am watching/listening to the video over and over as I type this. My gosh, she's been in my house! I'm not kidding. Do all we moms say all those things? There are not many of the things she says that I do not say. It's hilarious, but also really comforting to hear it. But you know - the moms in my neighborhood that I know do not say all those things, I don't really care for the kids and really don't want the kids playing together. Does that make me sound terribly snobbish? I hope not. Thanks so much for sending this! :-)

I hope you don't mind that I 'found' your blog. I have always really enjoyed your writings and love to hear the every day goings on in another household that feels very similar to mine.
Your sis,

I didn't see this comment, just noticed the one about Sofi's Twinkle In Your Eye story. I started writing a comment on your blog page but had baby on my arm so couldn't type. It didn't even dawn on me that it would come up as "motherofthepack" instead of my email acct just. I have thought of letting you guys know about this blog but haven't quite gotten that far. The bebo thing is fun but I find that I'm not as "free" when I write when I know that so many people that I know read it...it's just so interactive! I get a little more self-conscious writing then! :) I love writing though and find so much humor in these guys...or maybe it's more like this: potentially frustrating or overwhelming days kinda brighten up when I catch the humor in the situation instead or just writing about it can just make humor take shape as you write. (Did you by any chance read about Mac majorly marking "his" territory? I have it titled "I'm supposed to be semi-bedrest" or something like that. That one was with negative humor until I started to write about it, then I actually could find a tiny, tiny morsel of humor in it! :)

Kristin-you've gotta go to this blog site: mom2my6pack.blogspot.com. Now THAT site is comforting to read...a mom of 6 tells her adventures of motherhood, Erma Bombeck-style!
