Isabella's 8 weeks old today! Just yesterday she weighed in at 9 lbs, 9 ozs. Isn't it weird to think that our Sofia was born at 9 lbs, 8 ozs and was 9 days early? I think that Isabella was a little bigger but possibly lost a little ground when she was sick. In this picture she was just leaving the hospital, hence the sticky things still on her cheeks...they were to hold the oxygen tubing in place.

Isn't it amazing how much faster time goes once they are born!! She is adorable!
I know! The last 8 weeks of pregnancy is another story...it feels like 8 months! Now since she's been born, I feel like there is no way it's been 8 weeks already!!! I still feel the effects of her being born like it would have been yesterday-laundry forever behind, house is still pretty upside-down, etc. I still email the teachers saying, "Ummm, please continue to be patient as we..." then think, "Hmm, I wonder how long they will realistically believe me before they will think I'm just using it as an excuse!" Actually now it's been more due to this recent hospitalization. We had just been feeling pretty normal and then off to the hospital we went and have been feeling the effects of that hospitalization in our uprooted, unstable-on-a-good-day routine!
I am so glad she is feeling better, how scary! She is adorable. My son was also, 9 lbs and 8 oz, and was 4 days early. She's a cutie!
