Umm, A-hem! Still Plugging Along!!!

I cannot believe how hard it is to get these credits done! It definitely is much more challenging to stay awake and focused when trying to complete courses (as stimulating as they are) than blog surfing and posting!!!

My hubby and I got in a mini-honeymoon last weekend, from Thursday to Sunday! Heavenly!!! I've got pics to post from then and otherwise but I just re-peeled my eyeballs open from reading all about Congestive Heart Failure and lots and lots about treatment of it and such. YAWN!!! It sure is interesting though! Just wish I could somehow convince these eyes of that fact!

Okay, later!

Hi Darla! Well..where did you go on your mini-honeymoon? We're going to need one of those soon to recharge our batteries! Kids sure can take it out of the marriage for a bit, hey? I just love getting comments from you on the blog. Both you and Joni have so much wisdom to share. It really helps just to know that we're not the only ones going through this. And I'm now a firm believer in the mantra - 'this too shall pass'.

You and Joni can come on over whenever it works out. I put a note on her bebo page as well. I know how busy it gets though. Your life is insanely busy!!! So, if it doesn't work out, I'll buzz out to Joni's one day with the kiddos and maybe you can meet us there?!? Else - welcome over whenever it works. I'm home!

Hey, young lady! Somehow our lives have become quite disconnected! Sorry I haven't posted anything on here for a looooong time - at least from way back when you wrote those touching letters (which I meant to respond to, and do the favor.) Today my cell phone is lost (dead, too) somewhere. I heard it dying yesterday evening sometime and said, "Someone plug that phone in!" As if they all just jump when I make a request, I forgot all about that phone then until this morning. And alas, it had not been plugged in, and I cannot find it. Wonder where it'll turn up - remember back about ... 6 years ago when I had lost my keys and the boys told me the next day that they were in a box of goldfish crackers? Wonder what Cole would tell me if he could only understand 'where are Mom's keys?' Could be he's the culprit!

Did B tell you that I came to visit at your house yesterday? Had to run an errand with Ami, and he then continued on to work, so thought since I had the kids packed up I may as well make the best of it. Besides, I had housework waiting for me, and it's so fun to escape it for a while. Didn't have to worry about it going anywhere while I was gone. Too bad!

K, I'll wrap up this book - think I'd find a publisher who'd be interested in it? Ha ha! :-)

You've been missed. How are you besides the new expert on congestive heart failure? My FIL had that by the way and ended up getting a heart transplant a few years ago.

I can't wait to hear about this much deserved mini honeymoon!
